Brad Pitt becomes a real life hero on ‘World War Z’ set

Brad to the rescue

Brad Pitt isn’t only a hero in his films, he’s a hero in real life!

While on set in Glasgow , Scotland filming his new movie ‘World War Z’, Brad came to the rescue of one of the female extras that was about to get trampled during a scene.

While 700 extras were running, one woman fell to the ground, and was about to get trampled by a stampede of people when Pitt bent down and scooped the woman up, bringing her onto her feet. A source on set dished on what happened;

“Lots of people hurt themselves and Brad came to the rescue of one woman who slipped. I don’t think she could believe it when Brad picked her up. He didn’t have time to speak to her as it was mid-shoot. But she said afterwards how grateful she was, despite having a badly grazed knee. Loads of extras suffered bumps and scrapes during the battle scene. An extra playing a soldier was even hit by a moving car, ending up on the vehicle’s bonnet, but fortunately he escaped unhurt.”

Sounds like an intense shoot, happy no one has been seriously injured.
