‘Bones’ season 8 finale spoilers: Brennan talks marriage … with numbers

There are plenty of reasons to look forward to the “Bones” season 8 finale on Monday night, but we know that one that has many fans at the moment excited is the prospect of seeing Booth and Brennan bringing up the subject of marriage yet again. This has been a hot topic really ever since the two parties first got together, with the main thing holding them back being simply that Brennan does not really see the same appeal in marriage that Booth does.

So how will this manifest itself on Monday? According to TV Guide, Brennan and Booth are going to have another conversation about it, and while she seems to be somewhat more receptive to the idea than she once was, she also still claims that she doesn’t understand the purpose of making such a firm commitment. Why? She believes that it is only logical that many relationships will end after around four years, and by that time Christine will have already went through most of her formative years. Therefore, the goal is to make that time as happy and as loving as possible.

Of course, Booth does not really share the same belief here as she does, and we think that over time she is starting to see the importance of this sort of commitment. Plus, being with Booth has helped her to realize that we do not live in a world where everything has to be just about numbers and statistics.
