‘Suits’ season 3 spoilers: A new face boards the firm

SuitsWe have some of our first major casting news today on “Suits” season 3, and it revolves around one of the new faces that will be stopping by the firm as soon as the season takes off.

According to a report from Deadline, British actor / musician Max Beesley, best known for his work on “Hotel Babylon,” has signed on to the USA drama to play the role of Stephen Huntley, a right-hand man who assists Edward Darby (Conleth Hill) after the merge in much of the same way that Mike once worked alongside Harvey.

This casting makes for an even more interesting dynamic when you consider that Mike is not going to even be at the firm when “Suits” picks back up, and Darby is going to really be Harvey 2.0, except with a different accent. If you thought that season 2 was an out-of-control power trip at times, just wait until you see what happens now. There will be testosterone literally blowing through the roof, and this is without even mentioning just how Louis Litt is going to find a way to get himself involved in all of this … and you have to know that he is going to find a way to do so.

With this casting news, it’s fair to say that the wait until Tuesday, July 16 just got a little bit longer. Luckily, the show’s production being underway in Toronto should be a good opportunity for us to find out some more information and scoop on the episodes ahead.

Are you familiar with Beesley’s work, and if so, are down with this casting? If you want some other scoop from the “Suits” season 3 premiere, be sure to check out our comprehensive article here.
