Adam Lambert tweets new album details

New details!

On Thursday night, Adam Lambert had a small version of his recent “Twitter party,” and took advantage of the opportunity to share a few more details about his upcoming sophomore album.

First, the “Outlaws of Love” singer started this off by posting this message:

“Ladies and Gentlemen: the new album is sounding amaaaazing! I promise it’s worth the wait!!”

He then said that the first single would come out in about “8 weeks” (meaning close to the end of October), and that the album itself would have 12 songs in total — but there would also be a deluxe edition with more music.¬†As for a final release date, that is still not set in stone — rather, he wants to take his time so that the album is “perfect for all [of the fans].”

Here are a few other little fun notes from the session:

-The album is going to contain both “highs” and “lows” from his life.

-Adam is game enough to answer questions about Tommy Joe Ratliff and harem pants.

-He likes to sing the “True Blood” theme song to boyfriend Sauli Koskinen.

Finally, Adam added something that just about any fan of his music can be excited about — a lyric from one of his upcoming songs:

“one day I was trippin, that’s when I could see, that the ether that I tapped into could be reality”

Do these hints make you even more excited for the release?
