Now we have 4 left. Amber is stellar, however americans like personality in their IDOLs (eg Dave Cook over David Archuleta). Best singer, Candice, hands down. Best voice, Kree, hands down. Don’t count Angie Miller out though. Her 1st album’s going platinum and we all know it, and her original alone will pay for the next IDOL season. Angela Miller kills the performance aspect when playing the piano, but standing at mic she changes slightly (still good though). It’s very simple … playing the keys, and being an accomplished musician, she “feels the music”, and that feeling is conveyed into her expressions naturally. Standing at mic, she has no keys to connect with, lacks on the expression because of that, and doesn’t seem to realize it. They complain her beauty takes away from performance. When standing, Angie need only smile less, close here eyes a bit, and don’t stare at the audience when delivering an emotion portion of the lyric. IOW, she need only take a few things away to become stellar at upright mic, versus having to learn something she’s never done before to be better. If she tackles this issue, watch out.

Amber will likely depart next, however she could have a few of the other seasons. We’ll she, maybe she’ll surprise us. I figure (4) Amber, (3) Angie, (2) Candice, (1) Kree … but song selection is everything from here out.

She always seems to be stuck in one gear making every song sound preachy and angry. And while I can appreciate what she is doing vocally, I really can’t listen to her performances more than a couple of times.
