Once again, we have a few new details when it comes to the upcoming third season of “Glee” — even though it is not necessarily enough to actually understand what is going on with the show.
Speaking in a new interview, series star Lea Michele gave us a brief tease of what is to come moving forward– including what we can expect both in terms of some early storylines along with some of the music:
“I know that I have some really great story lines with Chris Colfer and Darren Criss. I know that I’m going to be in the high school musical which I can’t say but it’s one of my dream roles — not Fanny Brice. So I know that I’m doing that and I know that they’re going back to a lot of classic songs. From the first script it was not a lot of top 10 songs but older songs which I love and am so excited to sing and lots of broadway. So I’m super excited about that.”
Michele also reiterated her own personal desire to see Rachel’s two dads for the first time on the show this season — even though Ryan Murphy has said publicly that he is not even sure as of yet if he wants to show them off (saying that they are at this point such a fun mystery).
Although at this point so many people are talking about the idea of a possible spin-off show featuring Rachel, Kurt, and Finn in New York City, we do still have a full 22 episodes to get through first — and Michele seems to be confident that there is going to be so much going on this season that it will be easier to put some of this chatter on the backburner.
What sort of music are you hoping to hear this season?
