Season 3 is a must because to leave the season 2 finale as is would be a huge injustice. But some of the comments here I don’t understand. Why would Emma go to jail? Her only crime is being a junkie and in the real world people should not be jailed for that. Second, Bobby and Sue Ellen need not just a tryst, but a union, a marriage. Anne, who has no real role in the show, should have died in the rig explosion and that would leave Bobby and Sue Ellen to cement the family hierachy as Patriarch and Matriarch. Sue Ellen is the female lead and it should only be fitting that her and Bobby be married. As for Cliff Barnes, billionaires do not rot in prison so he should not stay there. Elena, even if you don’t like her, does have a score to settle with the Ewings. First her father had oil rich land taken from him by JR and then John Ross and Sue Ellen took her assets and share of Ewing Energies. Emma is the foil for the marriage between Pamela and John Ross, and when this affair comes to light, as well as the JR frame-up coming undone, Pamel will reunite with her father Cliff and Cliff will regain control of Barnes Ewing Global. Yes, people, much fertile ground to cover. Dallas should have a season 3 and beyond. But that is in the hands of the powers that be. Hope they do it, but we shall have to wait and see………

Yes there should be season 3, 4, on and on! Dallas fans are awesome and so is this show, as well as the original! Writers and producers: Try a little tris or romance with Sue Ellen and Bobby. Once a Ewing, always a Ewing! As for Victoria Principal, you will always be Pamela Ewing. I hope one day you do the fans and cast, the honor of reprising your role. PLEASE!!!!!

My prediction for season three, provided there is one, is that Emma gets pregnant by John Ross, ( or she gives him a social disease since she seems to be indescriminate as to who she has sex with) and the beans will be spilled one way or another!!!! John Ross is a WORM!!!! (Look at thr role model he had!!!!)

I love the new Dallas and was not let down by the finale, although I wish Emma would have gone to jail instead of Ryland. I do not like her character at all. Maybe it’s just the actress who plays her, but she just doesn’t seem to fit in with the rest of the cast. John Ross is awesome!

I thought it was a horrible finale. I felt cheated as a fan. The build up was so intense and this was such a let down. I actually felt bad for Cliff and I felt it was a slap in the face re original Pam. Her ending was so sad and Bobby was like whatever. And expanding the role of Elena is unfortunate as I find the character as exciting as a piece of toast. Guess I won’t be watching next season.

Please let there be a season 3. Let John Ross and Emma get caught and get Christopher and Elena back together. Please have Carmen help with this. Have Elena do the right thing. Have there be more to the story with Pam’s character

It’s hard to imagine Dallas without Hagman. Whether from the grave or otherwise. It seemed like the Ewing family took the left fork in the road and were mending fences, at the end the show took a hard right turn and showed John Ross taking his fathers reigns. Season three would be nice, but I for one am not sold on the new younger generation of Dallas.
