It also makes sense that Alec would have a boost since he was the last one evicted (I know Topaz actually was but with the double eviction her demise was very glossed over). Casual fans have a short attention span and it feels like weeks since Gary was in the game. Gary’s best shot is to play as an All-Star down the line when he can start fresh and not be an outsider. Alec makes more sense to one back in this game and target the power couple, it would make so much more sense for the narrative of the show. Alec makes less sense as an all-star and starting fresh.
