You two CLEARLY haven’t been watching this show.
He’s tried to leave his wife for Olivia at the end season 1, and she sent him back.
If Olivia tells him to leave Mellie TOMORROW Fitz will do it. Don’t kid yourself, she is where she is because she CHOOSES to be.
There is nothing empowering about Liv’s illicit relationship with Fitz’s murderous lying underling, and if it continues much longer, it WILL crash the ratings.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves.
Once the majority of the audience fixes on a particular pairing, it’s over.
Shonda Rhimes will end up with a cancelled show on her hands in less than 2 seasons if the keep Jake around, because the crowd that made Scandal chose Olivia and Fitz, and if you look at the blogs, this is REALLY annoying some of them.
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
Player hating Fitz/Olivia as a pairing is a route to failure.
The idea of Fitz and Mellie as a viable couple is self delusion, and the idea of Jake as anything other than a dangerous liar is a the work of a foolish mind.
In reality, a man who would watch you on video cameras, see you upset and then call and PREY on you, is eventually going to chop you up and put your remains in a wheelie bin.
The whole video surveillance thing was wrong.
Fitz was drunk and at odds with Olivia all year.
What’s Jake’s excuse?

I love Scandal and always look forward to watching the show. But I am definitely a Fitz and Liv fan. They have the best chemistry on tv. But SRhimes needs to get the Liv/Fitz groove back. Jake is not the one for Liv. No Chemistry between them at all.

I don’t care who Jake ends up with, so long as I get to see him shirtless. Fitz, is super doper old. He’s boring. I want excitement and fun. Breath life back into Scandal. Jake and Olivia is alot more fun to watch and their sex scene was off the radar. It wasn’t bang, bang and I’m gone. It was great to see her waking up on his bed and arms. It wasn’t about politics and how she can help her. It was a moment where she was knocked off her feet and allowed her to see herself happy in a long time. Love their chemistry. I love, love when he kissed her and walk away. I almost die. Love, love it was totally about Olivia and making Olivia happy because he saw how happy she was. It wasn’t about him being unhappy in his relationship and wanted a fix or to be fixed. That’s more real than any affairs. For once Olivia was being fixed and taken care of. Epic!!!

I must agree Jake came in an conquer my heart. I hope we get to see him shirtless in each episode. Jake, may be all good or all bad, but aim hook and begging for more.

Fitz and Mellie deserves each other because she knows how to bring him back when he hits rock bottom. She’ll do just about anything for her husband. Love her feisty. She doesn’t take prisoners, She crushes them. So Olivia have that woman husband alone.

I’m a Olitz fan, but it’s sad to say, but all the air is sucked out. I’m now intrigue by Jake and Olivia. Jake is for the younger generation and Fitz for the older people. The younger generation wants excitement not crazy stupid pining.
