The natural creativity that makes this show so great, at this stage of Community’s lifespan, seems to have been sucked out of the characters. Smart writers are the ones who can save this show, but they need to explore the workings of season one for answers. The nucleus of the show has to be GCC. They need to build a show around the idea that no character is bigger than the actual campus. There’s so much potential to turn this into one of the greatest, longest-running shows of its kind, but it needs the right minds to set it in that direction.
