We have heard a variety of actors and singers over the years effectively proclaim that they are “too famous” to ever make an appearance on “Dancing with the Stars” — and now, even some reality stars are saying the same thing.
Speaking in an interview with “New York Live” (via Huffington Post), “Jersey Shore” star Pauly D admits that he has so much going on right now courtesy of his DJ job and various appearances that he really doesn’t need to wear sequins and trot around in a ballroom:
“I will do ‘Dancing with the Stars’ when my career dips.”
The funniest thing about Pauly’s comment is that it seems to be a sort of slam towards his co-star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino — who actually appeared on the show back in 2010 to rather poor results. Pauly’s co-star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was reportedly on a short list to be cast this season, but she has come out to say that she has never been asked to do the show — but there is some interest there since she thinks she would end up winning.
Do you think this is a rather harsh — or rather funny — thing for Pauly to say? New season 4 episodes of the “Shore” air Thursday nights on MTV.
