Hope to see Edith use her journalism column and her determination to effect change for divorce from the insane. Believe historically the change does not take place until 1937. But perhaps, as an Earl’s daughter, she can get an individual judgment for Michael Gregson–after five episodes, of course.

Everyone in her family disapproved? I may have missed something, but I think the only one who knew Michael is married was Matthew, and he, er, took that with him down the embankment. Don’t think Papa knows yet, or Dowager or even Mama or sister Mary. I think that lovely revelation is saved for season 4. I’m hoping they all say they’ve realized life is short and tell her to do what makes her happy–but I don’t think we’ll see that turnabout for old Edith.
