Adam Lambert holds steady in airplay, gains spins

The new spins are in.

In this week’s edition of Adam Lambert airplay, there is something positive to report — not only did the singer actually end up staying steady with hit “Whataya Want From Me,” but the song actually ended up adding a few spins.

Overall, the hit managed a total of 1,655 spins in the past week across all formats (via Idol Chatter) — which is a tiny gain of seven from the week before. As for what brought this on, we could really just blame this on just a few naturally-occurring fluctuations — even though it could also be easy to say that Adam getting honored by the Los Angeles Equality Awards helped to give him some additional exposure. (You could also say the same about his appearance at the VH1 Do Something Awards.)

We still have not heard any official word on when it comes to the debut of Adam’s next single, but expect to find out a release date at some point over the coming months. (Once that happens, we will have consistent airplay reports on this, as well.)

Why do you think Adam’s hit song continues to hold on so well?
