Is there a more international artist out there at the moment than Charice? At the moment, it certainly doesn’t appear like it. The Philippines-born singer has spent a good bit of time this year in America, but has traveled across continents, visited Japan, and is now reportedly set to head to the small Middle East nation of Qatar.
Multiple sources are claiming that Charice will be in the city of Doha on September 29 for what is expected to be one of the biggest shows of the year in the country. The venue is at the track surrounding Khalifa Stadium, which holds an audience of up to 15,000 fans.
Bilal Taha of Golden Relations has worked to put this event together, and explained in a statement that one of the primary reasons for the announcement delay was merely that they had to find a venue large enough to accommodate all of Charice’s devoted fans:
“Since announcing the event early last month we have been flooded with enquiries via Facebook and on Twitter for more information regarding the show.
“It took us time to announce the venue as we wanted a bigger place that could accommodate at least 15,000 people … we are expecting a big turnout for the event since Charice’s followers are not only Filipinos but other nationalities as well.”
Now that you have seen Charice venture to so many different countries, where do you want her to go next more than any other place?
