‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: Ellen Pompeo’s Meredith receives tough news
Remember how “Grey’s Anatomy” tried to almost poke run at Meredith Grey’s constant pregnancy fears in the promo for next week’s “Idle Hands” episode? Well, as it turns out, there may be a reason for her to be afraid. (After all, didn’t you see this coming? Shonda Rhimes is not going to let this pregnancy happen for her leading lady without any sort of drama attached to it!)
We told you recently that the 20th episode of the season (airing a few weeks down the road) is going to be entitled “Idle Hands,” and based on the new synopsis below via SpoilerTV, we are almost sure to see Ellen Pompeo’s character have a tough time dealing with some news impacting the future of their child:
“Unsettling news motivates Derek and Meredith to take preventative steps for their children’s future; Syrian doctors come to the hospital for a crash course in basic surgical skills; April decides to tell Matthew the truth.”
So what does April need to tell Matthew the truth about? More than anything else, this is the part of this synopsis that has us curious more so than the baby drama, since we really saw that coming a mile away. We’re sure that there has to be some sort of feelings there between Sarah Drew’s character and Jackson, and it has to be coming out even more now that she is seeing him in more of a position of power helping to run the newly-named Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

I think that April and Jackson will get back together, but I really like her with Matthew. She seemed sane for once.

April is going to tell him the truth about her virginity. Remember in the episode where he told her he wanted to wait until marriage, she let him think she was a virgin waiting for marriage as well instead of telling him about her past indiscretions with Jackson. She looked on the verge of telling him and then just said, “nothing. Me too.” (Regarding the virginity thing.)
