‘Necessary Roughness’ season 3 spoilers: John Stamos scores multi-episode arc

Necessary RoughnessJohn Stamos is seemingly everywhere these days, with his most recent guest spot coming on NBC’s “The New Normal.” Not only that, but he is part of a pilot for the new TV season entitled “I Am Victor.” It has been a comeback of sorts for the former “Full House” actor over the past several years, and you could say in some way that it was facilitated by a role on “Glee” as Emma Pillsbury’s first husband Carl.

So what comes next for Stamos? Apparently, it involves diving into a completely different world with cleats instead of dancing shoes: football. According to a new report from Deadline, the actor will recur throughout the 10-episode season 3 of “Necessary Roughness” over on USA, where he will play the head of an sports / entertainment management firm named Connor McClane. Not only that, but he is going to be very interested in adding a certain woman named Dani (Callie Thorne) to his list of employees. This is an opportunity to get away from the madness that is the New York Hawks, and step out a little bit on her own with a wider client base.

Will she take it? That much is still a mystery, but we know that “Necessary Roughness” is in need of a comeback. Ten episodes is a rather short order for a series that is in its third season, and there could be some rough waters ahead unless the show manages to really impress either creatively or in the ratings.

Overall, are you excited to see what Stamos does in the part? Be sure to share some your thoughts below! In addition to that, you can also read a little bit more on the series’ third-season order over at the link here.
