Mrs Carter: Will Josh and Anna follow in his parents footsteps? Seems to be headed that way.
People have given Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of “19 Kids and Counting” fame a lot of grief over the years for their decision to have 19 children, saying that it’s irresponsible and unfair for the younger siblings to have to help raise their parents children, but not everyone feels that way – especially not the Duggar children. Not only are they happy to help out and be an important part of the family unit, but their parents choices and life style is something that inspired their eldest son Josh in a significant way.
Josh and his wife Anna are already parents to two children, daughter Mackynzie and son Michael and now the happy couple told People that they are expecting their third child. Josh said: “It is very exciting. It’s fun for Michael and Mackynzie being so close in age and this baby will be, too. We feel very blessed and happy.” During the filming of “19 Kids and Counting: Duggars Do Asia” (premiering on Tuesday, March 12th at 9 p.m. on TLC), Anna took a pregnancy test that came back negative, so she thought she wasn’t pregnant. She said: “I thought for sure I was pregnant and so I was a little disappointed, but two weeks later, I found out I was pregnant.”
Jim Bob and Michelle have had the tradition of naming all of their children names that start with the letter “J” and Josh and Anna have started their own tradition by naming their two first children names that start with the letter “M” – so will they continue on the trend with baby number three? Josh said: “We’ve been throwing around name ideas and we are pretty certain we have it down to two. We will have to see.”
