If they really are considering 10 seasons, i think they should settle the Penny and Leonard relationship by 7, maybe not married, but certainly comfortable. The Big Bang Theory is a brilliant show.

Ten seasons may be too many but it is good enough to go 10 seasons, Chuck Lorre’s Two and a half men is on its 10th season and still gets its fair share of viewings

i think 8 seasons would be enough, the writers seem to be struggling at the moment and they keep bringing new characters into it. they need to focus on sheldon and how he was the first couple of seasons because thats the main reason why people enjoyed this comedy, and i think thats why friends was so massive because each character never changed except for chandler maybe!

ten seasons is definitely too much,
I think with the seventh season you can finish this series.
because I can not imagine what you can install a new one in this series
