Mrs. Carter: “The Bachelor” is not even over yet, but Selma Alameri seems to have lost out on both Sean Lowe and now also Arie Luyendyk Jr. within the span of a few short months.
According to a new report from Wetpaint, Selma (who was sent home by Sean during the episode set in Lake Louise, Canada) and the former Emily Maynard castoff (who made it all the way to the final two on her season) have made the decision to amicably stop seeing each other after just a few dates. The relationship was reportedly hardly even a relationship at all, since it was still in the infancy stages at the time in which the decision was made.
While we don’t know for certain how the two started to see each other, it is possible that it stemmed merely from the frequent messages that Arie was sending out on Twitter about how beautiful he found Selma. The racer has certainly made his way around the show community as of late, having also briefly dated Courtney Robertson following her split from Ben Flajnik. There were rumors at one time that Arie could end up being the next leading man for the show, but they decided instead to give the part to Sean, which seems to have ultimately been the best choice given the show’s enormous ratings.
As for the future for both Selma and Arie, wouldn’t this make a great “Bachelor Pad” story? We don’t know if they would be interested in appearing, but it’s a possibility so long as the summer series comes back.
