‘Bachelor Pad’ season 2: Erica Rose says challenge comments hurt

Erica had a rough time this week.

During this past Monday’s episode of “Bachelor Pad,” there’s really no question that Erica Rose had a rougher time than just about every other contestant present. She was targeted repeatedly during the show’s challenge for being less attractive to the men to the other girls there, and she took the opportunity to respond at length in a new video.

While she does have the gift of being able to look back now, the contestant (best known during her first stint on “The Bachelor” for her tiara-wearing antics) says that getting targeted with some many eggs filled with pain was not a difficult thing to cope with at the time:

“It really did hurt my feelings. I didn’t really like the whole principle of the game which forced us to compare ourselves to the other girls in the house … I fell into that a little bit when I compared my looks to Ella’s, and I apologized to her because we are all really pretty in our own ways.”

Erica also refers to Blake as the “Bentley” of his season due to how he is playing Melissa, and promised some romance of her own with Jake Pavelka on Monday night’s episode — which is going to feature a battle between him and Kasey Kahl to stay in the house. So far, the season has been dramatic — but Monday could very well mark the turning point.

Do you want to root for Erica now based on what happened in that challenge? Based on the fact that she spent this weekend with Vienna Girardi and Kasey in Las Vegas, it seems that she is getting along with a good many of the cast members outside the game.
