Honestly, I liked Rachel a little better than Carly (except around the end of Season 1), but their singing voices are both amazing. Also Nancy B, Carly didn’t seem to come off mean or snobby. In fact, she seems really sweet and shy, especially in moments with her brother. Carly is a very great person all around, and she’s going to do good things in the future :)

Nancy, you come off as a negative jealous person. Carly is the best and she has the sweetest personality. she does charity work which puts her on the top. She is beautiful and deserves to be a star and she has already been signed with a record company.

Nancy B, there is a lot more to singing than how high you can sing. You don’t have to take my word for how great Carly is though, just read through the seemingly endless list of quotes from professionals who are successful in the music industry. Celine Dion and her husband/Manager Rene Angelil for example. Rene said Carly reminded him a lot of Celine when she was Carly’s age. And by the way……..who are you again?

I love this conversation, Nancy B really has no idea what she’s talking about. I can’t wait to see Carly’s record deal when it happens. I’m sure it’ll be much more than a 5 million dollar deal. That can be one reason they are waiting to announce a deal for her. It’s not like Carly or the record label to embarrass Tate before his first album is released by announcing a larger deal for Carly than what Tate “won” on XFactor.

It’s fun reading everyone’s comments, ‘for or against’ Carly for whatever reason it may be .. dislikes or likes, it’s a gr8 conversation going on here :)
If Carly was on X-factor Australia, she would of won with flying colours against all the other contestants over here for sure. (that’s just my opinion of course). I’ve never heard a 13year old sing the way Carly sings, wow .. she has Soul!

It’s always amusing to read comments from “pseudo experts” like Nancy B. They usually begin with , “I know what I’m talking about” and progress to a lot of useless techno jargon to show they have “special” knowledge no mere mortal could ever understand. Honestly? Spare us. When you earn a spot on XFactor, Idol or AGT, wow the judges every week, gain a worldwide fan base and give back to the world as much as Carly has…then…I might think you have something useful to say. Carly may be a major flop or she may be the phenom her fans say she is…only time will tell. I’m betting on the latter. …and I know what I’m talking about.

i agree with trevor and scott, carlys got a unique flavor and we dont really know how high notes shes able to hit, she hasnt sung any song for us so far thats required super high notes. who cares anyway? like scott said, higher notes doesnt mean better singer. thats like saying if person A jumps higher than person B, that makes person A the better basketball player. just stupid. nancy is clearly a hater and doesnt know what shes talkin about.

Does anybody think Carly could sing Janis Joplin type songs. They’re rock., soul and Jazz? And I mean differently / better then Janis. And I love Janis but I think Carly would sing them better and without her voice cracking like Janis. Janis really abused her voice and body with drugs and alcohol.
