The last chance winner is a lock. It is probably Kristen and she has consistently produced food within 30 minutes that Collicio feels is better than in the regular competition. Brooke and Sheldon are talented but Tom made a particularly telling statement when he tasted Kristen’s and Lizzy’s fish stews on last chance kitchen. Their food, prepared in 30 minutes, in far more primitive conditions, was better than what he is tasting in the regular competition. Kristen is the machine at this point, not Brooke. Both Brooke and Sheldon are excellent in their own right, but Kristen has been superb. She beat CJ, Josie, Stephan, Lizzy, and now Josh. She went out of her comfort zone to produce a pasta that Tom noticed was improvised. Lizzy stayed within her own comfort zone in preparing fish. All else being equal, Kristen wins as she has better range than Lizzy. She is going to lose formidable competition in the finale. That being said, if Lizzy somehow pulls it off, all bets are off, unless Lizzy has the opportunity to work once again with fish.
