When I started to watch this show it was Olitz that draw me in. When I told friends about the show it was my excitement regarding Olitz they started watching. Vanmar is correct “Olitz thought about this relationship..they tried to avoid the situation but, the feelings grew stronger then the human mind could resist. Earlier when I said, “she needs a life outside of work and POTUS” I didn’t mean for her to toss POTUS aside, maybe a Girls Nite Out. The more I watch Scandal the more I want Olitz back together. When they’re together everything just fits into place.

I think and Still do that Scandal is one of the best shows out there. The characters like most people have complicated and messy lives. Which is one of the reasons this show is so good. Its real. I don’t believe that Olivia nor Fitz took this step easily, if you remember the moment they took when they simply stood together both realizing the position they were in and the feelings that were developing. Love can be like a magnet which pulls you in regardless of your morale compass or the right of wrongness of a situation. How many of us would lose if me dismiss someone we care about simply because we did not like there choices. I don’t watch the show to judge or dictate the path of the character but to enjoy the ride I am taking on. For those who would opt out of watching the show because the characters are not taking the path you wish,.. well your loss.

I live in Nigeria,West Africa and l started watching the show because of Olivia and Fitz’s relationship…l loved it so much that l was looking forward to season 2 episode 14..l was however disgusted on how Fitz treated Olivia.The writers better get this relationship back on track or am out.

Millie needs to take a vacation to CA then Fitzgerald and Olivia need to meet and talk out their feelings each trying to understand the other. A good moment would be the lets have one minute to c if we still have soul together. fiitz needs to then feel her love and get a hold of himself . He can make a statement at work I AM Back. his drinking excessively stops and he gets to solving the world problems. Olivia solves problems at her work. Fitzgerald and Olivia star all over again.

I would love to see the show delve into Olivia’s past and see how she evolved into the fixer. The reason being is because she obviously is not healed from whatever deeply hurt her in the past which is why I believe that she honestly does not believe that she is worthy of a geniune healthy loving relationship. Therefore, a relationship that involves a married man could be ideal for her in her mind, because she can hide behind it rather than deal with her real issues in understanding why she feels she has to settle. Also, if you look at her past and recent relationship with Edison it basically boils down to the same thing. The reason that she gave for breaking up with him I thought was a symptom of a much bigger issue that is going on within herself. Please let’s get her on either someone’s couch or chair so that she can get the healing she desperately needs. Loving someone is okay however, nothing compares to a healthy loving relationship.

I think that the stages at which everyone is at in their lives is believable. there has to be turmoil after a love break-up. In the president’s situation, he is even in a more complex position. He is married and has history and a new baby with his wife, but his body and mind is screaming for Olivia–the love of his life. You just cannot turn off so easily. He is totally in upheaval and as he tells cyrus he needs to understand whom he can trust. He has to get his head straight. This is plausible to me–there is conflict, there is soul searching , there is analysis of one’s life, etc. Fitz is in need of all these. I look forward to seeing how he deals with these issues. He has too much guilt towards his wife–I hope that he doesn’t ruin his life!!!!
I enjoy spending time analyzing the many facets of the characters’ lives. And I do look forward very much to the Olivia and Fitz moments!

A new love interest for Olivia would be a disaster.
A clever explanation for Fitz’s behaviour would be that he killed Verna to protect Olivia and is now bitter and slightly scared of her.
Failing that, the writers of Scandal have written themselves into a season 3 cancellation.
You don’t tamper with the great central romance of this or ANY show, without it hitting your ratings.
When will Hollywood learn?
