Modern day BS PC crap written into a 1920 scenario is totally ridiculous, illogical and comes off as very unintelligent. This was the WORST script so far. I agree with above commenter about Thomas. I am so sick of all this gay right crap, sick of it, sick of it, sick of it!

Thomas was finally getting his due. His conniving hurt William and Bates. he purposely gets his hand injured to get out of serving at the front while William and Mathew serve with honor and sacrifice. He steals and endangers his employer’s dog just to manipulate and gain favor. He steals a snuff box and lies to put the blame on Bates Sure, he wept over the loss of two lovers and Sybil’s death but that doesn’t make up for all the harm he’s done. It was just not right that Bates’ generosity backfired. I was disappointed Lord Grantham didn’t throw him out.
