Are you ready for “Once Upon a Time” season 2 to have both Jack and the Giant? While we do have to wait until the new episode airing on February 10 to see it, thankfully it will be happening pretty quickly after that.
As the photo to the left here likely shows you, this really will be the episode all about Jorge Garcia’s character of the Giant, including his real name (Aton) and how he ended up being the last remaining one of his kind. The basic story of this flashback is simple: Garcia’s Anton, in a move to become friends with some actual people, ends up going down the beanstalk before meeting Jack (Cassidy Freeman). This move is against the wishes of some of his brethren, who obviously believe that there is nothing on the ground floor besides trouble for just about everyone involved.
There are a number of questions that are pretty worth asking here from the get-go:
2. What exactly causes Jack to end up being a skeleton on the Giant’s floor when Emma and Captain Hook enter his lair? (This is at least what we are assuming happens based on some of the promos that we have seen.)
3. Is the second photo here of Freeman going to single-handedly throw some of the show’s younger viewers straight into puberty? “Once Upon a Time” has been known to show off magic, but not so much skin.
These photos are coming courtesy of TVLine, and hopefully by the time this episode is over we will be able to look at Anton even more as someone we want to root for, and not just a silly giant who is confined to just grunts and loud noises.
