On Wednesday night in the “Big Brother 13” house, we very much saw a tale of two different groups. We had seven people who actually showed a legitimate interest in trying to play the game — and then two who want to adopt an “us vs. them” mentality and come across as some of the most vindictive people to ever play the show.
(Warning: the following contains spoilers.)
Rachel knows that she is going to stay in the house this week — and with all signs now leaning towards Thursday night being an endurance challenge, she feels she has a decent shot at winning. Therefore, she is getting set to run some sort of reign of terror. If she is the new Head of Household, she will force everyone to make appointments to speak with her — and at the end of it, nominate both Jeff and Daniele. It’s obvious that Rachel wants the latter out of this game, but her anger at Jeff and Jordan blew up on Wednesday since she feels they are not going out of their way to keep Brendon in this game (and she’s right).
While Brendon and Rachel threw themselves the 100th pity party of the week, the rest of the house was out having some fun. There wasn’t any real strategy talk, but the gang did at least give the “after dark” audience some fun games to watch (including “Simon Says” led by Shelly).
When do you think Rachel will realize that this plan is only going to further isolate her from everyone else in the game?
