Demi Lovato highlighted in new VH1 Do Something Awards videos

The awards air Thursday.

If you checked out some of our coverage over the weekend, then you already know that Demi Lovato had quite a night Sunday taping the VH1 Do Something Awards. Not only did the former Disney star belt out a thrilling performance of her hit “Skyscraper,” but she also managed to win the Do Something Charity Song for her 2010 collaboration with Joe Jonas.

VH1 is obviously trying to do everything they can to highlight Demi for the awards, and with that in mind she is featured front and center in two new campaigns for the broadcast. First, we have a clip of Lovato singing her hit in a much better quality than any of the videos we have seen online to this point. In addition, we also have a clip of Demi trying to do her best to explain why people should choose to watch this ceremony over everything else on the Thursday schedule — in particular since so many of the results are already out there.

Unfortunately, these clips are going to only work if you are living in the United States.

Are you planning to check out the awards?
