Mrs Carter: He may like to joke around, but not when it comes to his relationship with Olivia
Every woman loves a guy who can make her laugh, so who better to snag as a husband then a comedian? “The Longest Week” actress, Olivia Wilde has started off 2013 on the right foot, moving from girlfriend status to a fiancee with just one question from her boyfriend Jason Sudeikis. According to Us Weekly, the “Saturday Night Live” comedian popped the question to Wilde just after the Christmas holidays ended asking Wilde to be his wife. A source said that Sudeikis felt that Wilde was the one that he wants to spend the rest of his life with and that things have felt right between them ever since they first met. They said:
“He finally found the one that made him want to commit. They’ve both been through it before and this has just felt right from the get go. Everyone is happy for them.”
Wilde and Sudeikis have been dating since December 2011 and unlike many Hollywood couples that try to keep their relationship private and away from the watchful eye of the media, these two have had no problem being open and honest about their love for one another. In fact Wilde recently posted a message on her Twitter account of thanks for everyone who congratulated her on her engagement to Sudeikis. She wrote:
“Thanks for all the sweet congratulatory love, friends! And may I compliment your savvy use of that nifty engagement ring emoticon.”
While we respect the actors and actresses that want to keep their relationship out of the public eye, there’s something really special about the couples that want to share their love and special events like marriage and babies with their fans. It lets the fans feel like they care about them outside of just “come see our movies” or “watch our television programs”, giving them a stronger connection to the people they admire.
