Mrs Carter: Farrah stands by her decision to tweeze.
‘Teen Mom” star Farrah Abraham has gotten a lot of heat from her decision to wax then tweeze her 3 year old daughter’s “unibrow”, but despite the criticism she feels that she did the right thing shaping her daughter’s eyebrows. While speaking to Good Morning America, Abraham said that she has been getting a lot of flack over the fact that her daughter had a unibrow so she felt that she had to do something about it. She said: “People just kept commenting on a unibrow, and I was like, maybe I am letting it go too far.”
Abraham shared her experience of waxing her child’s unibrow on her blog, saying that her daughter “freaked out” when she put a dab of wax between her eyes, so she ultimately decided to pluck her unibrow while her little girl slept. The “Teen Mom” star has also been criticized in the past for her own cosmetic surgery decisions, but insists that it is not on the same level as plucking a few hairs out of your child’s eyebrows. She said: “Cosmetic surgeries to me, are something that is way different from plucking your eyebrows. If I can help my daughter in a little way by just plucking a few hairs . . . I think I did something right.”
Farrah later defended her decision further through her Twitter account. She wrote: “Unibrows are not sacred! Do the right thing tweeze no matter what age,” and “Sophia’s beautiful with unibrow or without! Point is take care of your child’s hygiene.”
Do you feel that Farrah made the right decision in plucking her daughter’s eyebrows or do you feel that three years old is too young to be worrying about that kind of stuff? Leave us a comment and let us know what side of the coin you fall on.
