‘Teen Mom 2’: Jenelle Evans makes a name change … on Twitter, anyway

Jenelle EvansMrs. Carter: From Jenelle Evans to Jenelle Rogers.

Not long after announcing that she was going to be deactivating her Twttier account in the wake of all sorts of new allegations about drug use, the “Teen Mom 2” star is back on social media yet again, and this time with an updated last name to reflect her status as a married woman. Of course, it is not a given that she would have to take his last name (and in some ways it is better career-wise not to), but she obviously wants to reaffirm her commitment to her man Courtland Rogers after the two have been the target of numerous split rumors over the past month (largely perpetuated by some of their own comments).

On January 2 (and as we reported previously) Jenelle also posted this message online to address all of the talk about her and Courtland splitting up:

“I [love] my husband and we r married. I’m not believing any rumors. We r happily married and everyone wants us together and make this work.”

Are we going to see any of Jenelle’s personal life with Courtland unfold on “Teen Mom 2” moving forward? Based on the fact that this current season contains footage from a rather long time ago, it’s not likely that he would turn up at all until next season … though anything is still possible, given that this show has always had a production schedule that is a little bit difficult to follow.

Let’s just hope that as 2013 moves forward, these two find a way to live their lives a little bit more peacefully, and this includes trying to find a way to stay out of the tabloids for a while.

What do you think about Jenelle taking Courtland’s name online? If you want to read some more news about this “Teen Mom” couple, you can do so over at the link here.
