Mrs Carter: Still under the same roof – how long will that last?
Bethenny Frankel and husband Jason Hoppy may have separated after two years of marriage, but the pair are still living under the same roof and don’t seem to have any plans to change their living situation in the near future. Reports from US Weekly reveal that neither of the “Bethenny Ever After” stars will be moving out of their New York loft at this time. As far as the separation goes, Bethenny and Jason had a firm prenuptial agreement that will help ensure that there are no major fights over money, properties or other assets. The other positive thing (if there is anything really positive that comes out of divorce) is that both Bethenny and Jason plan on sharing custody of Bryn to help give her the best life they can. Bethenny even had her talk show moved to New York so that they could both be involved in their daughter, Bryn’s, life on a consistent basis.
Divorces are difficult, there’s no denying it, but they are made even more so when you’re separated and still living in under the same roof. As strange of a situation as this sounds, it’s actually a lot more common then one might think. Ex-couples stay in the same home after separation for all kinds of reasons; children, financial, career, convenience, and the list goes on, but it seems like for now it makes a lot of sense for Bethenny to stay where she is since they are trying to work out an amicable deal with their separation where everyone comes out happy (well as happy as one can be in a situation like this).
