As far as I’m concerned they are the otp of the show. any series based upon a love triangle is bound to end a tragedy for at least one character, but the love between Tyler and caroline seems so organic and pure I find it impossible to not root for them.
I really hope that the writers will do them justice this season and give their relationship the attention it deserves( my major compliant with TVD is how quickly they burn through story lines- there’s no emotional fallow through).
