the fact is that there are alot of good vocalists in the top three, but to me it feels like their performances get boring after a while. carly is great, but she is always great and the shine and the specialness of her voice has worn off. emblem3 brought real excitement and great energy to the show, that i felt was missing this week. that is why they will be sucsesfull outside of x factor, because they have the whole package. that is just my opinion…

Emblem 3 shoulda been in the finals….it was sooooo boring without them, I fell asleep 3 different times! They actually know how to move a crowd.

I loved the duet here. It was raw and natural, real and heartfelt. I could feel the strong connection and emotion between them. Bravo! Loved it. Not overproduced but indicative of two stars just having fun and, well, loving each other. LeAnn was about the same age as Carly when she started, so I understand the connection. On Leno the other night, LeAnn mentioned she was battling a cold. Well, sometimes life just happens. Do we make lemonade out of lemons? I believe she did. Further, each allowed each other upstage at times, and shared stage at others. Nice give and take mutuality. It was a powerful, authentic rendition. Absolutely loved it, like I said earlier. Reminds me of accepting each other where we are and making the best out of circumstances. I was utterly moved. It sounded raspy at times, but oh so good that way.
