Mrs Carter: She’s not ashamed of her wild party days and won’t hide it from her son.
Even though “Jersey Shore” star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi gave up her wild lifestyle of drunken clubs nights to settle down with her fiance Jionni LaValle and her son Lorenzo, that doesn’t mean that part of her will be buried forever – after all we still have six seasons of “Jersey Shore” to remember just how crazy our favorite meatball really was (if you need a reminder go watch the last 5 minutes of the “Where’s the Beach” episode for the best five minutes of reality TV ever). Now that Snooki is a mom, the reality star is constantly asked what she’s going to tell Lorenzo about her party days or if she’s going to try to hide it from him.
In a new interview with People, Snooki said that she isn’t ashamed of her past and that it really isn’t that big a deal. She said: “[My wild days] aren’t really a big deal. Everyone thinks, ‘Oh my God, what are you going to tell Lorenzo?’ I was 21 years old and I did what everybody else did, but it was just on camera. [I’ll tell him], ‘Learn from my mistakes and once you go through them, you’re going to know how to deal with them.'”
Snooki went on to say that she plans to have a talk with Lorenzo when he’s in his early teens and tell him that he’s going to go through the same things she did. She said: “This is what happens when you’re 21. You’re going to go through this. Just be careful.”
We love that Snooki doesn’t plan to hide her wild past from her son (not that she really could anyway) but it’s our life experiences, the good, the bad and the crazy, that we pass on to our children in hopes that they will have some guidance on this crazy ride we call life.
