Black Sabbath reunited for new album and tour

The band is back together!

There has been a lot of chatter over the possibility of the band members of Black Sabbath reuniting and it sounds like it’s finally happening.

Guitarist Tony Iommi confirmed that the band’s original lineup has already reunited and that they are currently rehearsing for a tour as well as getting ready to record a new album.  Iommi said;

“We’re really looking forward to it and I think the stuff we’ve been writing is really good. It’s more back to the old original stuff.  It’s all been very hush-hush. Ozzy’s been the worst at trying to hold it back. He’s doing a lot of TV and he’s being asked stuff about a reunion and he’s going, ‘Well, I never say never.’ He told me, ‘I don’t know what to say.”

Bill Ward, the drummer of the group, suffered a heart attack back in 1998, so the band was concerned that he might not be able to come back to the band, but it sounds like he is on board.

“He hasn’t been 100 percent. He had an operation a few months ago, so we’ll see how he is.”

Welcome back boys!
