‘The Bachelorette’: Ashley Hebert’s wedding gets additional air date

Ashley HebertMrs. Carter: Ashley Hebert’s wedding is coming back to TV … again!

Just in case you were watching the “Dexter” finale and you missed it the first time around, the former “Bachelorette” star’s wedding to J.P. Rosenbaum has landed itself a brand-new air date; and this time, you can check it out by heading on over to E!. In a new post on Twitter, executive producer Mike Fleiss confirmed that the wedding special (which was a disappointment for ABC in the ratings when it aired on Sunday night) is going to be airing on the cable network on December 23. That way, you can celebrate Christmas a couple of days early with some warm feelings of love in your heart.

In addition to getting you ready for the holiday season with some similar themes of goodwill, hopefully this wedding special will also put you in the mood for an entirely different sort of season: “Bachelor” season! The season premiere of Sean Lowe’s installment is going to be airing on January 7, and he has in some ways a link to Ashley in an interesting way: he was rejected by Emily Maynard, who was Ashley’s friend and fellow contestant while on Brad Womack’s season of “The Bachelor” nearly two years ago. (Sean was also in attendance at Ashley’s wedding along with a number of other key personalities affiliated with the show.)

Ashley and J.P. are one of the few “Bachelor” couples to actually tie the knot, and the first since Trista and Ryan Sutter to go from getting the final rose to the altar. (Jason Mesnick ended up marrying his runner-up in Molly Malaney.)

If you want to check out some more of the latest scoop related to Sean’s season, all you have to do is head on over to the link here.
