Film director James Cameron is hard at work to create the sequel to the box office smash ‘Avatar’ and has said that the next film will take place under water.
Cameron always sets his standards exceptionally high, so it’s no surprise to hear that he is taking his time creating a sequel that is worth of the Avatar name. The star of ‘Avatar’, Sam Worthington shared some insight into what Cameron is currently working on in respect to the sequel;
“Jim told me what it is, what he’s got planned, it’s huge. The thing with Jim is he doesn’t want to disappoint anybody and he won’t be popping out a sequel just because he can, so he’s actually taking his time writing a big bible, a pre-cursor to Avatar One, just to get himself back into that world.”
Cameron has always been fascinated with under water adventure, having traveling 2.5 miles to film the titanic wreckage as well as building his own single-manned submarine to embark on another trip, so if anyone is going to put out a brilliant under water film, James is the guy to do it.
