She was horrible on the first two rounds of the finals before she actually sang well. She always had rough starts before she finished her songs. She has a weak lower register. Yeah, she does seem to emotionally connect better with the songs than the other contestants, but her execution was just not as consistent.
My one criticism of The Voice is the judges start becoming too much of a cheerleader once they get to the Top 12. There were some not amazing parts in the performances, but the judges made it sound as if they were always amazing.
