‘Basketball Wives’: Evelyn Lozada drops restraining order against Chad Johnson

Evelyn LozadaMrs Carter: Evelyn and Chad have come face to face today – is there still hope for them yet?

“Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada met with her ex-husband Chad Johnson today in a Florida courtroom after she decided to drop the restraining order she had put against Johnson.  Evelyn and Chad came face to face for the first time since his domestic violence arrest in August when he was said to have headbutted Evelyn during a heated argument.  After the assault, Evelyn quickly filed a restraining order against Chad and immediately filed for divorce, just one month after the couple exchanged their wedding vows.

Chad has tried to make things right with not only Evelyn, but also with his fans ever since the incident happened and has apologized over and over admitting that he has an anger issue.  He has said that he is receiving professional help to get his anger problems under control.

According to TMZ the judge asked Evelyn today if she was threatened or coerced into dropping the restraining order against Chad and she said that she wasn’t. She was also asked if she was afraid of Chad and she replied by saying “No,” so the judge granted Evelyn’s  request and the restraining order was dropped.

So what (if anything) does this mean for Evelyn and Chad?  Well a source close to the “Basketball Wives” star said that even though Evelyn doesn’t know where she wants the relationship to go, she does want to start up communication with him again.  Do you think that Evelyn should work things out with Chad now that he’s working on his anger issues or do you want to see her meet someone else?  Leave us a comment and tell us what you think.
