When it comes to Monday night’s episode of “Bachelor Pad,” there are ultimately two stories worth noting — the complete flip-out over one contestant staying, and the complete shock of two people leaving by their own will.
First, we begin with Jake Pavelka — the former “Bachelor” who stayed thanks to a twist that kept all of the guys together in the house this week. Yes, it did seem as though Chris Harrison and company plugged in this twist out of left field just to facilitate more drama — and Vienna Girardi even had a reason to be upset about it to an extent. But to whine and complain when you are on the show under your own accord? That merely came across as petty.
With this twist, we also had another — two people leaving the house on the women’s side. Gia Allemand literally walked off the show following a heated fight with Kasey Kahl, while Jackie Gordon then left after supposedly having a deal in place to keep her safe and for her relationship with Ames Brown to continue for a while longer.
What was then shocking was that following Jackie’s elimination, Ames immediately took off like he was the lead in a romantic comedy and hopped in her limo. So Ames is now gone as well, which will be hard to notice since the show wasn’t too keen on showcasing him anyway. Could producers be trying to downplay what happened with Ames and Jackie since he is a candidate to be the next “Bachelor” once everything is said and done? It’s possible…
What do you think about the twist allowing Jake to stay, and about all the sudden exits this week?
