If CBS had left their most popular Drama where it originally started (midweek nights) instead of moving it to Sunday where it was constantly bumped and pre-emptied by sports shows last year they wouldn’t have lost their audience. People moved to and got locked into other series shown in other networks that were on at that time slot I am a loyal fan and have managed to keep up by recording the series ( however this was also difficult to accomplish due to pre-empted schedules). I am in my mid fifties, but you won’t find me sitting at home on a Friday night. Most of my friends don’t stay home Friday evenings. We may be “older”, but we are not dead yet! Tuesday or Wednesday nights in the 7-8 or 8-9 pm would be a much more likely slot for this terrific show. Friday nights will compete with local sports activities that many parents and grandparents attend. Sounds to me like they need a new or maybe older programming director!
