There’s no joy in stiff bodies reading cue cards with allegedly funny words on them. SNL doesn’t work anymore. Some of the cast members left are inherently funny. The others need a lot of comic Viagra and even then there’s nothing there to see.

The Jamie Foxx thing was stupid. A bad groan.Not funny. I can only imagine how he will be skewered on shows like O’Reilly, etc. NOT THAT I CARE WHAT THAT IMBECILE THINKS. ;>

I usually find Jamie Fox funny and quite entertaining. I also have remained a huge fan of SNL even through some lean years but I found this episode to be one of the worst episodes in recent memory. Trying to make reverse racism a joke just isn’t funny. Racism is racism…. we get it……

My favorite part of this review is “Jamie Foxx saved this usually ho-hum recurring sketch” in reference to J-Pop America Funtime Now. Jamie Foxx was the WORST part about that sketch. He totally did not find the comedy the way Taran Killam always does in that sketch. This was, in my opinion, the worst episode of the season (including the wretched Louis CK episode).

Foxx is very talented BUT why did he fall into the sterotypes (every other word bitch, whore, et al). Loved Alex Cross parody craziness, Foxx went nuts! Liked JPop, his piano & singing. The monologue reduced this brilliant and talented man to a “kill all the white folks” (really? ) sterotype. Hey Seth, Really? Did ya really think it was ok to attack white people? As a white person, I’m offended but as a human being I’m just disgusted by a bright man (Foxx) debasing himself for the laugh.

The person who wrote this review must be the mother of the head writer or of Jamie Foxx. That was the worst SNL I have seen in a long time. Ne-You was excellent, but other than that and maybe Weekend Update a complete waste of time.
Truly awful.

Killing whites is a mainstream comedy idea now? WTF? This is just bizarre. I’m done with SNL after that. Django Unchained will be a flop too, except among the Black Panthers. Tarantino, who I used to like, is a total moron now.

What show was the reviewer watching? This was perhaps the most unfunny episode I have ever seen live. There wasn’t a funny sketch in the entire 90 minutes, and that is saying something because apart from Louis CK and Seth McFarland, the season has been almost unwatchable. Clearly the writers had no ideas, I mean two game show parodies in the same episode? Even the weekend update, which can usually pull out a few chuckles, was unusually dry. Several cast members were severely underutilized or almost completely absent. The writers should be missing Andy Samberg and Kristin Wiig about now.

I had high hopes for this episode and was extremely let down. The only thing that made me laugh was Seth on Update. Fred Armisen usually makes me laugh but his only appearance was a bit part on J-Pop America Fun Time Now. Also, they should try to stop doing Digital Shorts without Samberg. I am a huge fan of the show, but so far this season hasn’t been very good.
