‘Real Housewives of New Jersey,’ ‘Beverly Hills’ stars going on tour

Many “Housewives” will appear.

It may be an event that very few people actually asked for, but it’s happening anyway — a brief “tour” featuring some of the stars of Bravo’sReal Housewives” series.

On Monday, it was announced that this coming October, some of the most-popular “Housewives” are going to be making a few appearances for some live events. As for what these events will actually contain, Bravo’s senior vice-president of marketing had this (rather vague) statement to say:

“Bravo viewers like to truly engage in the shows they are passionate about. With The Real Housewives Live Tour, we are able to give our fans a unique, hands-on experience with their favorite cast members across franchises that they can’t experience anywhere else.”

Tickets for these events will not come cheap — they start at $49.50, with a “VIP Event” ticket (which includes a walk down the red carpet and a spot on the guest list for a cocktail party featuring the “Housewives”) ended up costing a grand total of $170.

So far, here are the announced dates:

Atlantic City, NJ
October 1, Caesars Circus Maximus Theater
Caroline Manzo- “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”
LuAnn de Lesseps- “The Real Housewives of New York City”
Kyle Richards- “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”
Vicki Gunvalson- “The Real Housewives of Orange County”

Hammond, IL (Chicago area)
October 8, The Venue at Horseshoe Casino
Sonja Morgan- “The Real Housewives of New York City”
Gretchen Rossi – “The Real Housewives of Orange County”
Lisa Vanderpump- “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”
Phaedra Parks- “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”

Atlanta, GA
October 15, Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre
Nene Leakes- “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”
Jill Zarin– “The Real Housewives of New York City”
Melissa Gorga – “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”
Marysol Patton– “The Real Housewives of Miami”

Probably the biggest surprise here is seeing one of the “Miami” stars present for an event, largely due to the fact that this is in many ways the forgotten sibling of the “Housewives” franchise.

Would you pay almost $50 to attend one of these shows?
