It has taken 4 series for them to finally get together and they are so suited. Let them be happy together and let Stefan find someone else from his past perhaps. Caroline can go with Klaus, she would then rule him as he obviously loves her so much he wouldn’t even know she is doing it. For Damon to admit he has loved Elena for so long and wants her to love him back shows that the bad boy would do anything to keep them together.

Stefan expects Damon to be selfless (More than he has already been!?) and do “right by Elena”…what about what Elena wants? She knows of the bond and she also knows that it doesn’t affect her feelings. Does her opinion count on this matter? I hate that Stefan and Damon just neglect to include her in HER own life…what is it that she wants? Isn’t that important? The bond is not clouding her judgment when it comes to what she feels, sooooo… I hope Elena stays with Damon. I couldn’t stand the writers reduce Stefan to taking Elena back after he knows she is in love with his brother…that will turn him into a doormat…I hope they find a way of giving him another romantic option…please keep Stefan’s dignity and find him somebody else…I would hate seeing him reduced to that. I am a Stelena Fan but I even have to admit it is time for Stefan to step aside… :(

For the record, Stefan doesn’t know A LOT about Damon [or Damon and Elena’s past]…
and it is for that reason he believes Damon is “wrong” for Elena…

Only Elena can choose what is right for her.
