That “I am telling you…” is a girl’s song. I’ve never heard a guy sing it. Everybody constestant in a singing competition sings it. I fast forwarded it when Trevin sang because I am already sick of that song. Every note there is screamed out, not sang. Singing competitions have turned into screaming contests. Everybody tries to outscream each other. I get so exhausted listening to them. That is why I find Melanie a nice restfull break. I must admit though that she has limited range. I am sure she can become really good with good voice lessons.

Carly Rose did “Over the Rainbow” so much better on the X Factor. And Trevin’s version of “I’m telling…” was ok, but nowhere close to Jessica Sanchez on American Idol. You should have mentioned that because the girl killed it!
