I don’t think there should be a cure. Somethings you shouldn’t be able to go back on. She’s dead and not just recently dead so there shouldn’t be a way to reverse that. Also it’s ridiculous to think that someone should stay the way they were or go back to the way they were simply because they or the one who claims to love them doesn’t like the changes they’ve gone thru. This is exactly why she nees to stay with Damon because he accepts her no matter what. Stefan just wants her back to the way she was for his own selfish reasons. People can’t expect a girl who feel in love instantly at 16 to stay with or go back to that same person and not grow. If the writers do that then their morons. Also why does a change in Elena’s behavior have to mean she has unpure motives? I hate the fact that this idea is being pushed simply because might get with Damon. They’ve been close for a long time and there has been emotion and sexual tension between them so if she sleeps with him quickly that doesn’t mean she has unpure motives. She slept with Stefan shortly after meeting him and she didn’t know the real him then.
