Judging has very little to do with the outcome, or else it would be the best judged artist who wins, but don’t begrudge when people vote for acts like Rylan and Chris as they do. In the game of life, artists like James Arthur, Ella Henderson, Jahmene Douglas (and Lucy Spraggan) will predictably sell some albums to their fans and play cool live shows. Union J will put up with screaming girls for the next few years and make albums I will never buy or listen to. Rylan will be one of those guys who is around showbiz and because he is a fun guy to be around, he will do just fine. Chris will go tour nursing homes in the Northwest before ending up in the West End, doing things we don’t care about and making more money than you.

Everyone wins yet we still argue constantly about the outcome on the show.

That being said…James Arthur for the win!
