Adam Lambert at the Los Angeles Equality Awards — the highlights

On Saturday night, Adam Lambert received his long-awaited Equality Idol Award at the (go figure) 2011 Los Angeles Equality Awards, and there are a few highlights worth sharing.
First of all, the singer wore a gray buttoned-up shirt and pants to the occasion, and ways joined by boyfriend Sauli Koskinen as he walked inside the Beverly Hilton. The two have now been dating for some time, but Adam has chosen to keep his private life just that and not talk publicly about his relationship.
Inside, Adam was presented with his award by his “Voodoo” collaborator Sam Sparro (who he is working on some new music with for the upcoming sophomore album) — though the moment that is getting almost as much attention at the moment is his impromptu duet of “Mad World” with Kathy Griffin in the middle of her presentation. (Griffin was there to help present an award to Facebook for their contributions to LGBT rights.)
Following the awards ceremony, Adam posted the following message on Twitter to signify that this was a rather fantastic way to spend an evening:
““Thank you Equality California for such a lovely evening!! And [Sam Sparro] for a great intro.”
Are you thrilled that Adam was honored in such a way?
