Have any of you actually listened carefully to Trevin Hunte? He actually misses quite a few notes, and was down-right awful tonight with “Wind Beneath my Wings.” The show lost most of its credibility anyway this season when Amanda Brown was voted off. She was clearly a much better singer than anyone else.

Melisma-abusing? Well, okay, if you’re going to give Trevin flak, then you might as well give all of Team Xtina flak too, including Christina herself! I’m actually leaning toward Terry or Nicholas David for the win, but come on, even among R&B singers, Trevin’s vocal quality is definitely NOT “forgettable.” That kid is talented–he has the kind of voice that could make an atheist feel the Holy Ghost, for goodness’ sake.

Dear God, I hope that melisma-abusing Trevin Hunte does not win, though I think he probably will though in the end. We do not need another forgettable R&B/soul singer winning the show.

I love how the three top singers here were picked by cee Lo. He doesn’t get them all right but he manages to pick stars and its better to get one or two stars and the rest that are meh artists than having a team full of vanilla choices (a la christina)
