Charlie Sheen’s ‘Two and a Half Men’ co-star ‘misses’ him

Charlie’s no longer here.

If you look back at any Charlie Sheen interview even during his very-public meltdown earlier in the year, he did at least try to be consistent with one thing — his feelings towards “Two and a Half Men” co-star Angus T. Jones. While he initially bemoaned that he had not heard from him in the days following his dismissal, he then went on to say that the two were talking, and that he had nothing but respect for the 17-year old actor best known for playing Jake.

Now, Angus is doing the best to share the love right back. While at an event in West Hollywood Thursday night, he ultimately seemed to suggest that he and Sheen were still friends despite everything that happened with Chuck Lorre:

“For sure I miss Charlie. I talk to him every now and then. I still want to hang out with him and stuff. We’re still friends. There’s no hard feelings at all.”

Charlie has since been replaced on the show by Ashton Kutcher, and all reports coming out of the set proclaim that the former “That 70’s Show” star has made the environment fun and professional for everyone involved. (Both Angus and fellow co-star Jon Cryer have embraced Kutcher — though it does not appear to be at the expense of Charlie.)

New “Two and a Half Men” episodes are expected to begin airing on September 19. Do you think Angus is ultimately going to become as close to Ashton as he is to Charlie?
